This week has reminded me of the enormous sense of achievement we all got when we did our first Winter WOLF run! And of course, reminded me of one of our Thrivers! CH Well done!
CH Achieved a lot whilst training with us!
What was your WHY for joiningMansformation & Bootcamp?
Reasons for joining – I’ve always been into working out in one way or another over the years but had started to let myself go and was suffering with ill health as a result (acid reflux relying on lansoprazole tablets daily). Helen has joined Thrive and was doing really well and kept dropping hints about my belly and working out and the latest 6 week challenge. So I joined without telling her and started in the January.
How has Bootcamp made you feel since you’ve been here?
Since joining my health has improved no end, I am no longer reliant on the tablets and only very very occasionally have to take one. My fitness and strength has improved and I have the courage and belief that I can achieve whether it be a heavier weight or a human flag I’ll give it a go now
Do you feel you have achieved what you thought you would (or more) since you started?
I’ve achieved more than I thought I would for one the doctor had told me I would be taking those tablets for the rest of my life. 2 I suffered a bad knee injury when I was 40 and to have the confidence to do a pistol squat on that leg now is amazing. I’ve gone from 34″ waist to size 30″ waist!
What’s your next goal?
My current goal which I don’t work on enough is to walk the length of the green room on my hands
How differently do you feel now?
My health energy, drive, belief confidence are through the roof, I love the workouts and the camaraderie, the banter to push each other and get each other through the workouts it’s awesome. I look forward to working out and beat myself up if I haven’t given those 40 minutes all that I can.
I should also say none of this would be possible without the help and guidance of the team at Thrive you guys rock
Thank you CH! Your results are amazing and it’s a testament to your hard work and dedication to your training! See you on the next WOLF run!
